I know most of you are not big fans of Electronic, House, Trance etc. but if someone would ask me to sum up the best songs of these genres, I would probably recommend these tracks. I was never a big fan of those genres either, but with these songs, my eyes went open. Enjoy!

Beats

Stephan Bodzin vs. Marc Romboy - Callisto
Comment: Turn on the volume of your subwoofer! Absolutely one of my favourite tracks! (Great to play this game with) A dark but beautiful melody supported by an awesome beat.

Len Faki - Odysse II
Comment: Another powerful track, giving me an enourmous feeling of strength.

Ame - Rej
Comment: Classic one, but still great. Just one word I can find to describe it: Evil! The only person that can sit still on this one is probably in a terminal state of cancer.
(Oh, it's great as background music to play LieroX with.)

Adam White and Andy Moor - The White Room
Comment: Let's turn the speed a bit up with this gorgeous track.
http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=KKaK-mEXbnY&feature=related

Hybrid - Finished Symphony
Comment: Symphonic Trance. Lay back and enjoy the pure beauty of this track. Even the most people who don't like too much beats will agree with me that this one is a true masterpiece.

Aah great! Ofcourse I know Faithless (with songs like "We come 1", "Insomnia" etc.)! But I'm pretty new to the Electro/House/Minimal/...-genres, so every suggestion for a new song is always welcome (even when it doesn't belong to one of these genres, I'm open for pretty much everything).
I'd recommend to check some of the following artists:
-Moonbeam (especially the song "Cocoon")
-Minilogue ("The Leopard", "The girl from botany bay")
-Nathan Fake ("outhouse")
-James Holden ("The sky was pink", "A break into the clouds")
-Deadmau5
-Booka Shade
-Extrawelt

Haven't been able yet to listen to your song Thomas. Last couple of days when I checked the forum, it was already late and everyone was sleeping. But I'm curious and I will make sure that I've listened to it and posted a comment on it. Smiley

--> Thomas: Aah, laying back, dreaming away. Lovely indeed! More please!

--> Jakob: I've become a big fan of the 1st and 4th song because of their melody! The others are quite fine too, but nothing compared to that 1st and 4th track.
The first one reminds me of "Fire and Ice - Souvenir de Chine", which I think you will like. It's, so far, my favourite in that genre. (Just start listening at 3:56.) Trance is a genre I haven't really discovered yet, but you seem to have some knowledge about it. Please enlighten me further!  Wink
