About the game
The game is a free, text-based, web-browser mmorpg. In this game, you become a mage who has to gain resources to buy an army of creatures, which you have to train in order to win battles against other mages and other creatures which you may encounter while travelling around.
You'll have to gain experience with battling others and level up to learn curses, build new things, use better creatures etc. You'll join or create a kingdom which offers even a lot more possibilities.

The reasons why I like this game?
- It's pretty easy get to know everything and there's plenty of info you can get from specific sites and experienced players and while it's pretty easy, there are still a lot of possibilities in this game.
- The game consumes time, just like every other game, but you choose yourself how much time you'd like to spend on it. All you need to do is log out and log back in whenever you have time or whenever you're in the mood for it. I can't do that with LieroX. Once I start a game in LX, I'm stuck there for atleast half an hour, cause a game can just even take that long. I'd actually prefer a game that can be played as a quick (5 minutes) break because I don't have much time to play games.
- You could say now: "Why don't you just play Runescape then?" Well, the difference with Runescape is that the average population visiting this game is a lot older and mature. I guess the reason is that it's fully text-based, which is not really attractive for the young generation.
- Teamwork is extremely important in this game and so is diplomacy.
- I could add a lot more, but I'm too tired :p (It's 3:10 am)

Something negative?
- You have to log in every 7 days if you don't want your account to be removed. This rule was made in the past, because there were only limited places for registering an account.
(Since this will be the beginning of a new age, registering a new account won't be a problem)
- The game's pretty boring in the beginning, because you have to gain experience with your character in order to unlock new stuff and things to do, but you'll be addicted pretty soon once you've started, don't worry.
- It's addictive Grin
- Just like there are really nice people in this game, there are some asses who'll make it extra tough for you to stay alive. I don't really see this as a negative thing, but some might. For me, it's just a challenge.

Why I wanted to tell you guys about this game?
I thought it would just bring us back together with something else than another game of LX. Our activity has seriously dropped below zero and I don't think that a lack of time is the only reason. Lack of interest in LX will certainly have to do something with it I bet, atleast that's what's also a factor playing a role in my inactivity.
Tomorrow, a new age is starting in Castle Quest 2 and I think it'd be fun if we'd all participate in it or if we'd atleast give it a try. You don't really need to register an account tomorrow, you can still do that later too, but I wouldn't wait too long if you don't want to see your ass getting kicked. Grin

Well, if you're interested, register an account (which is quickly done) and take a look and if you don't like it, you can always kill your account or just never log back in anymore. Simple as that. :-)

A list of who's in might come in handy to know under which nickname everyone's playing, so give me a note when you've registered an account. ;-)

Seems interesting though

Not yet, the first levels are horribly boring! :-D But if you can keep playing long enough today, you'll be able to get to quite a high level already and it will get a lot more interesting.

Wooohooo! Cheesy Sent you a mail. Wink Saw the name Wander in Stonehenge, so I decided to ask if it was you or not. Smiley

All you need to know in the first place is:
- Do not defend people who are less than 15 levels higher than you.
- Only give skillpoints to the class you're a mage in. For example if you're an Air mage, only give skillpoints to Air magic.
- When you can't spend skillpoints to your own class anymore, you'll need a second class. If you're an Air mage, Forest magic is desirable.
- Don't start with the lowest creatures possible.
- Only buy Essence Vultures till your level 8.

All that will make you level a lot faster. Smiley
And by the time you're level 8, you'll understand a whole lot more of the game already. Smiley

If not, just ask me, or read a bit in the databases on the sites in the first post. Wink

They work for you to get a steady income of Essence every hour. You can find them in your spellbook.
Everytime you level, you get to summon 4 Vultures, which will make resources for you.

I bet you knew that already, just didn't know the name. :-)

I bet you didn't know that for me, being an Earth mage, they are called Goblins instead of Vultures. ;P

Haha, you're right. Cheesy

Never been any other mage than an air mage, so I didn't know indeed. :-)

Both Wander and Sakkelakkeboomboom are doing great already!

I'd want to say "Aaaaaawwww", but actually I totally understand actually. :-) Not that I've ever sunk as low as you, becoming a RuneScape addict though :-D, but indeed this game is just as addicting.

The higher your skill, the higher the level of creatures you can summon,  creatures you will encounter during travelling, buildings you can make. But at level 15, you can instead of giving skillpoints to your skills, give it it too specific curses. So, it might be handy to save your skillpoints if you want to learn curses.
For example: I'll be an Air shop in this game. That means that I'll have to get to an as high Air skill as possible. If you're a curser, you get your creatures from someone else and you'll be cursing some guys with specific spells.
Both a shop and cursers are needed in a kingdom. You can also become a raider: that's when you're gaining resources by stealing from other players. Raiders are also needed in a good kingdom to supply shops and cursers the needed resources.

So raiders won't be raiding people from the same kingdom? And one kingdom is a team?
